Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases in the Best Clinics in South Korea

On November 26, I underwent surgery for spinal stenosis at Helios in Krefeld. The choice of DMU and the clinic was not a coincidence: my choice was also determined by the successful operation of an acquaintance. It was also the promptness of DMU, discussions with the coordinating physician, and the absence of advertising that determined my choice. The trip was well-organized: I got an invitation and an interpreter at the clinic who helped me in the most difficult first day. The clinic is very good, friendly staff, highly professional doctors. After the operation the parasthesias and pains that had been bothering me for several years have disappeared. I have been living and walking without pain for about three months now. I am very grateful to my doctors for that. It was not very convenient for me when doctors came to visit me regardless of the time for which they had agreed on an interpreter. But there are no pains, and I am very grateful to all of them, both the DMU and the doctors.

I would like to express my gratitude to Deutsche Medizinishe Union and its employees Leonid and Samir for organizing my husband's treatment. Everything was organized very fast and of high quality. Being in Berlin without knowing the German language we felt very comfortable thanks to Anna's interpreter. Today my husband is in perfect health after the surgery and he fulfilled all the recommendations of Dr. Tesman to whom we owe a special thanks. Feedback on our story of a successful neurosurgical removal of an orbital tumour at Helios ClinicWe express our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped our little son: DMU staff (Andre Saling, who deeply felt the problem, spent hours on the phone with me, discussing, evaluating, persuading to overcome my fears), the translator in Germany (Marina Gusina, great medical translation, full understanding, help in the clinic on different issues as they were), and most importantly, our doctor from God, neurosurgeon Professor R. The most important thing is to our doctor from God, neurosurgeon Prof.R.Bshorer!Exactly the only one in the world who was not afraid of performing the surgery on the tumour on our two year old son, because it was right next to the nerve! The operation was much more difficult, longer, but still it is hard to believe - everything was done perfectly! Just jewelry work by a master of his craft and a real generous person!!!Many highly skilled doctors in Russia convinced us that such surgery was impossible; we also applied to other clinics in Germany, Israel, Spain, Switzerland and the USA. All of them suggested to leave the tumour, which was already 2 cm, without any certainty of its benignity, and just to watch. It was difficult to believe in and decide on the surgery at Helios Clinic of Professor Bshorer. That is why we went to see him first and our first visit was very well organized and he was very open, honest and really wanted to help.He is still in touch with us, answering all questions and providing support.

In September 2019 my little girl was operated on at the Helios Clinic in Erfurt.We applied to many clinics in many countries, nobody wanted to operate on our child, arguing that the child has many serious comorbidities. Only Helios clinic in Germany reacted positively. Our daughter was successfully operated on by a team of highly skilled professionals under the guidance and direct participation of Professor Dr. Rüdiger Gerlach. The clinic was of the highest medical level and professionalism.Highest possible standards of comfort and care have been reached at the clinic. It is very important.Our interpreter Leonid Shkolnikov is a very kind person, who was always ready to come to the clinic on time and stayed there as long as we needed. Thank you all for your active participation!In spring 2020, we are preparing our daughter for her second surgery at the same clinic, a spinal reconstruction surgery. Of course we are anxious, but at the same time with great confidence.We hope very much that we will pass this difficult second stage with the same confidence.I can wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to our future patients.

In winter 2018, I decided to have arrhythmia treatment in Germany. Kirill Kalistratov supervised the organization of the trip. With his help, I was selected the best clinic in the city of Leipzig. In April 2019, I was operated in Helios clinic. I rate the organization of the trip and the treatment as excellent. My worries were in vain. Wonderful clinic, great helpful doctors and nurses. We also had a very good diet and excellent care. Thank you very much to the cardiac surgeon S. Richter and Prof. S. Leontjev.

We flew to Krefeld to do arthroscopy with cartilage repair for a hip joint that had been injured in an accident. Everything is of the highest standard, the staff is polite and courteous. Nutrition in the hospital, of course, is not good for athletes, but in general - they will not let you die of hunger. However, you should take into account that this is Germany (salt, sausage and everything). And yes, there was a hitch when placing in a room as a guest companion. After paying at the front desk for everything I needed (including meals), I got one fizaline and one hard-boiled egg for breakfast for three days. 😂😂😂😂 Anyway, someone didn't follow through and get me into the program. As a result, the kind-hearted staff fed me whatever they could during the day, for which I thank them very much. A lot of Russian speaking and understanding English, so even an interpreter was not really needed, as it turned out.

I had a mitral valve surgery in November 2019 at the Heart Center in Leipzig. The operation was a success. Service was excellent. I was met by car. The interpreter was good. The room is big and comfortable. The doctors are very good. Special thanks to the nurses on duty. I liked it. The amount of the risk was repaid on time. I recommend minimally invasive surgeries to Dr. Leontiev S.A.
