I had a hip replacement at Helios Huls. The surgery was performed by Prof. Kraft, very professional, the pain was minimal, and the prosthesis was the best in the class. I walked on my legs the same evening, and since the next day I walked on crutches, and in 4-5 days I did without crutches. The doctors are excellent, the care is good, wards and the hospital looks more like a hotel/sanatorium - everything is very comfortable and beautiful. Food is also at a high level, the menu is varied, but as for me, a lot of bread. Rehabilitation was very good, we worked with all muscle groups according to individual programme. The groups are not large, there are individual sessions, which is very comfortable. The only problem was the language barrier, not all of the staff understood English, and there were some misunderstandings. I got fast and good support from Bukimed and DMU.

My son is 2 years old and we were having problems with diagnosis in Russia. I found a web-site of Deutsche Medizinische Union on the Internet, left an order and they called me back. Of course we had many doubts because we had contacted strangers through the Internet and were afraid of possible dishonesty, but everything was perfect.We were accompanied by Samir, always in touch and ready to help at any time with any of my questions and problems he solved at once, we made MRI, sonography, diagnosed our baby, we are very grateful to Deutsche Medizinische Union, thank God for that, diagnosis was made in time, if we had searched in Russia we would have lost time and treatment would not have helped so much.

Very important is also a very good experience in the area I am interested in. I would like to thank all the staff in the Cardiac Rhythm Recovery Unit of the Hospital Leipzig for their sensitive and attentive attitude and promptness in solving all problems. On 25 February my husband underwent radiofrequency ablation to restore heart rhythm. He is recovering now and is slowly coming back to an active life. Doctor Sergio Richter who performed the surgery and the head of the clinic Sergey Leontev visited our hospital room after the surgery and explained to us how the surgery was, and what steps to take for further recovery.
