Organization of treatment in Spain clinics

I would like to thank all the employees of the Deutsche Medizinische Union for their help and support in arranging my treatment at the Helios Caecilien-Hospital Huels. In August 2019, I underwent two hip replacement surgeries, which went as perfectly as possible, in addition to a two-week rehabilitation course at the same clinic. I would like to mention the professionalism, friendliness and responsiveness of all the staff at the hospital. I would also like to thank the surgeon Prof. Dr. Kraft, Dr. Hachenberg and Dr. Sauer, all the nurses and the surgical team. THANK YOU. Of course it would have been much more difficult, if not impossible, without the clear and understandable organization of the trip and the process of treatment myself. That's why, I'm very glad that I found an organization like DMU. And I'm saying a big thank you. Good afternoon!I would very much like to share my experience of treatment in Germany, so that those in need of quality treatment abroad can have an idea about it.Accidentally I came across a review on the internet about DMU Treatment Abroad. I applied online and my expectations were 100% fulfilled. The request was processed quickly and I was in contact with a doctor expert Leonid the next day.The qualified physician Leonid is always online, the supervisor Pauline is always available and a wonderful medical translator Alyona is like a ray of light in the dark corridors of an unknown language and available 24 hours a day.And in general it is a strong COMMAND to organize treatment abroad.Experienced medical expert Leonid was able to find brilliant doctor from God, orthopedist-traumatologist Daniel Kendoff! Two surgeries (endoprosthetics) had to be done and the one in January 2019 restored the full range of motion of the hip in a short time. The second surgery ( on the other) joint was done in January this year, also went brilliantly. I took my wife to Helios in Leipzig for an operation. Yes, not cheap, but well worth it. I have already had an operation in Germany in another city and in another clinic. But I can't imagine anything better than what we had here. Excellent clinic, professional and attentive staff - from head doctor Sergey Leontev and surgeon Dr. Papp to the doctors, nurses and technicians on site. Excellent personal management from Michael Zaav and Maria Shlykova. The treatment method and the operation were chosen very gently and proved to be extremely effective, and the shoulder function was restored almost immediately afterwards. Both pre- and post-surgical anaesthesia allowed us to avoid any pain. We stayed in a separate room for two of us - it was much bigger than a hotel room, and the food was simply amazing - we travel all over the world and visited various restaurants, but we had never seen such a choice of tasty meals with such large portions. We were also surprised by the free regime of stay: walks are allowed, entrance to the clinic is free. Sanitary processing of the rooms and visitors, as well as staff, is at the highest level. Certainly, I will recommend Helios clinic to those who need cardiovascular treatment, orthopedic problems solving (joints changing and "repairing", etc.). And I would definitely recommend DMU for consultations and travel arrangements.

In September 2019 my little girl was operated on at the Helios Clinic in Erfurt.We applied to many clinics in many countries, nobody wanted to operate on our child, arguing that the child has many serious comorbidities. Only Helios clinic in Germany reacted positively. Our daughter was successfully operated on by a team of highly skilled professionals under the guidance and direct participation of Professor Dr. Rüdiger Gerlach. The clinic was of the highest medical level and professionalism.Highest possible standards of comfort and care have been reached at the clinic. Good nutrition and a homely warm attitude of the staff are the norm at the clinic.A special thank you to our coordinators!They made our trip as stress-free as possible.Andre Saling dealt quickly and professionally with the documents and all the other organizational things. He solved all my questions and requests related to documents at lightning speed.Maria Shlykova was our travel coordinator. It is very important.Our interpreter Leonid Shkolnikov is a very kind person, who was always ready to come to the clinic on time and stayed there as long as we needed. Thank you all for your active participation!In spring 2020, we are preparing our daughter for her second surgery at the same clinic, a spinal reconstruction surgery. Of course we are anxious, but at the same time with great confidence.We hope very much that we will pass this difficult second stage with the same confidence.I can wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to our future patients.

I would like to thank DMU staff for the excellent organization of the examination of my daughter Nadezhda Rikun in Germany at Helios Klinikum Erfurt. I was pleased with Deutsche Medizinische Union: they responded quickly to my application (in contrast to the other two companies I had sent applications to at the same time), offered me the Helios clinic in Kreffeld, which I was very satisfied with, and promptly agreed on treatment dates. The communication with the clinic was very good and very informative.The facilities are very good. The staff are friendly and smiling. My English is poor and I don't speak German at all. My English was enough for everyday communication, but in the evening when the surgeon came to talk about the operation, he called the Russian-speaking nurse to improve communication.About the treatment: I had a knee arthroscopy for a meniscus rupture. Suffice it to say one thing about the treatment: I walked around Dusseldorf 3 days after the surgery and had a "light" shopping trip, and on the fourth day I had a six-hour flight.I would like to mention particularly the work of anaesthesiologists. The anesthesia was excellent. It was like I fell asleep for 5 minutes and then woke up without any discomfort (the surgery lasted over an hour). In general the organisation of work is very different from that in Russia for the better.Now half a year has passed after the surgery and my knee is as good as new.
