The orthopedic surgeon was professional to the core, passionate about his work, even a commercial patient was for him primarily a patient, not a source of income. I read the description of the operation, he remembered and implemented the wishes of the patient (I was very afraid of dislocation of the joint after surgery and he put the prosthesis to ensure maximum range of motion). I would like to share my experience of treatment in Germany. My husband was diagnosed with sigmoid diverticulitis, his intestinal problems started about 15 years ago. Well, in 2018 the question of resection came up. Naturally, if finances allow, it is better to do it in Germany, Israel or Turkey. We had a consultation with doctors from these countries. I think that we would have had the same good result everywhere. In Turkey it would have been cheapest, somewhere around 10000 Euro. Israel has announced the price of 25000, but our Jewish brothers were ready to haggle, up to 22000 for a stay in a double ward. The best option was offered by Germany. The cost of the treatment was 15000 Euro. And while the prices in Israel are the same everywhere, in Germany it all depends on the clinic. We chose Helios Clinic in Leipzig. On the basis of this clinic there is a private department for those who like comfort. It is a 5-star hotel. Professor Bartels operated on us. I stayed in a room with my husband. The environment is perfect. The clinic is perfect and the staff is very good. We were picked up at the airport in Berlin by a Russian-speaking driver and taken to the clinic where an interpreter helped us with the paperwork. We didn't have any language skills, believe me there were no problems at all. To communicate with the staff through an interpreter on the phone. No problems. And in the end - my husband is a healthy person now. I do not believe that one year ago our doctors predicted his life with a stoma (intestine on the belly) in Germany, doctors made laporoscopy, the operation is reminded of only three small punctures.

I had a hip replacement at Helios Huls. The surgery was performed by Prof. Kraft, very professional, the pain was minimal, and the prosthesis was the best in the class. I walked on my legs the same evening, and since the next day I walked on crutches, and in 4-5 days I did without crutches. The doctors are excellent, the care is good, wards and the hospital looks more like a hotel/sanatorium - everything is very comfortable and beautiful. Food is also at a high level, the menu is varied, but as for me, a lot of bread. Rehabilitation was very good, we worked with all muscle groups according to individual programme. The groups are not large, there are individual sessions, which is very comfortable. The only problem was the language barrier, not all of the staff understood English, and there were some misunderstandings. I got fast and good support from Bukimed and DMU.

As always, trouble comes suddenly! I started to lose my eyesight suddenly. There was a question how to get to Germany for treatment, how much it will cost, how to get a visa quickly? After some monitoring on the Internet, found phone numbers that offer help, but I was afraid, standing on the stakes were health, and even life, as pressure in the eye could lead to irreparable consequences. We read about the INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER and decided to trust them. The trip to our clinic was quick as we stayed with a friend and the accompanying person and the ambulance was taken very quickly. The manager was in constant contact with us and we were given a very good time. The treatment had a long duration but we had to travel once again and the manager helped to arrange everything.I AM VERY GRATEFUL THAT THERE IS SUCH AN ORGANIZATION,

All of them suggested to leave the tumour, which was already 2 cm, without any certainty of its benignity, and just to watch. It was difficult to believe in and decide on the surgery at Helios Clinic of Professor Bshorer. That is why we went to see him first and our first visit was very well organized and he was very open, honest and really wanted to help.He is still in touch with us, answering all questions and providing support.
