I already had a Schengen visa.We had an interpreter at the clinic provided by DMU. He obviously had worked there before, and he knew very well what to do and where to go. Without his help the process of getting the patient to the hospital would have been much longer.We thank our Doctor Prof. Michael Friedrich and his doctor Jörg Stunneck. They solved the problem that the doctors in Russia did not know what to do with. Their treatment was top-notch; they watched us regularly several times a day and even on weekends.After we received the discharge from the clinic, DMU employees translated the document into Russian very quickly.And the biggest thank you for the help with the following situation. On the way back we forgot our backpack on the train. It was already evening, the next morning we had a plane to Russia. In the backpack were all credit cards, all cash and all the passports. Thanks to Maria we got the backpack and flew home safely on our flight.Thank you very much for your work!

I am delighted with the team of organizers and treatment.Third stage carcinoma of the thyroid gland.... during the epidemic and closed borders in spring 2020- it is hard to be healthy.... and with cancer all the more..I was not allowed to leave the country for treatment. What Samir and Leonid did - impossible.They organized a plane both to Germany and back, to Ukraine....The treatment is excellent.... in Israel there is a rush around and chaos...in Israel I had a surgery to remove the thyroid gland. In Berlin I had radioiodine therapy...I am thrilled. everything is clear... I understand why the German economy is so strong. The system! You have a system in everything. I love you guys, recommend everyone I know. may God bless you ... When I remember the horror that I had to go through: a diagnosis, do not understand what next??? fear of death.... and you are such a calm and supportive, you can not imagine how you their support and male confidence that you know everything and organize everything ....HUMANLY.... I was pleased with Deutsche Medizinische Union: they responded quickly to my application (in contrast to the other two companies I had sent applications to at the same time), offered me the Helios clinic in Kreffeld, which I was very satisfied with, and promptly agreed on treatment dates. The communication with the clinic was very good and very informative.The facilities are very good. The staff are friendly and smiling. My English is poor and I don't speak German at all. My English was enough for everyday communication, but in the evening when the surgeon came to talk about the operation, he called the Russian-speaking nurse to improve communication.About the treatment: I had a knee arthroscopy for a meniscus rupture. Suffice it to say one thing about the treatment: I walked around Dusseldorf 3 days after the surgery and had a "light" shopping trip, and on the fourth day I had a six-hour flight.I would like to mention particularly the work of anaesthesiologists. The anesthesia was excellent. It was like I fell asleep for 5 minutes and then woke up without any discomfort (the surgery lasted over an hour). In general the organisation of work is very different from that in Russia for the better.Now half a year has passed after the surgery and my knee is as good as new.

I recommend the hospital in Erfurt. I want to thank in the first place to Prof. Rosal, who did a great job and I want to say thank you to my doctor and to my medical staff who helped me to understand everything in Russian.

When you find out that you have cancer, your life and the life of your family are divided into "before" and "after. Yes, it seems that you don't live at all: you just go somewhere for something, do something, say something to someone. And in your head there is a chaos of thoughts and fears and worries. Thank God, we managed to "get acquainted" with Deutsche Medizinische Union at that terrible time. Many thanks to the senior coordinator-physician Michael Tsava who calmly and confidently said that, yes, the situation is not easy, we need serious treatment, but then life goes on. Mikhail assured me that the company will do everything possible for the best and most effective treatment. We received, in my opinion, a complete consultation about the clinics, doctors and the cost of treatment. Michael patiently, competently answered hundreds of our questions and was available almost around the clock. With the help of DMU I underwent two courses of radioiodine therapy at HELIOS Klinikum Berlin-Buch. I am very satisfied both with the conditions of my stay and the attitude of the entire medical staff at the clinic. The treatment fees are transparent and clear: the clinic gives you a detailed invoice with details of how much each treatment costs. At the end of treatment the clinic made a recalculation and we got a part of money back. I would also like to thank Samir, DMU's patient support worker, who was able to quickly and efficiently arrange my second course of radioiodine therapy in difficult circumstances during the coronavirus pandemic. And I would like to express special immense gratitude to the translator Alena Tkach. She is a great human being. Alena is not just an interpreter: she came, worked and left. She treats every patient like a loved one. Even though this job is a huge moral effort, Alyona can always find words of support, and her optimism is a must in these situations. And it is very important to know that being in a foreign country in a difficult time for you, you know who you can turn to for help and advice, you know that you are not alone with your problem.Once again, thank you very much to all the employees of Deutsche Medizinische Union for your work.

We flew to Krefeld to do arthroscopy with cartilage repair for a hip joint that had been injured in an accident. Everything is of the highest standard, the staff is polite and courteous. Nutrition in the hospital, of course, is not good for athletes, but in general - they will not let you die of hunger. However, you should take into account that this is Germany (salt, sausage and everything). And yes, there was a hitch when placing in a room as a guest companion. After paying at the front desk for everything I needed (including meals), I got one fizaline and one hard-boiled egg for breakfast for three days. 😂😂😂😂 Anyway, someone didn't follow through and get me into the program. As a result, the kind-hearted staff fed me whatever they could during the day, for which I thank them very much. A lot of Russian speaking and understanding English, so even an interpreter was not really needed, as it turned out.

I took my wife to Helios in Leipzig for an operation. Yes, not cheap, but well worth it. I have already had an operation in Germany in another city and in another clinic. But I can't imagine anything better than what we had here. Excellent clinic, professional and attentive staff - from head doctor Sergey Leontev and surgeon Dr. Papp to the doctors, nurses and technicians on site. Excellent personal management from Michael Zaav and Maria Shlykova. The treatment method and the operation were chosen very gently and proved to be extremely effective, and the shoulder function was restored almost immediately afterwards. Both pre- and post-surgical anaesthesia allowed us to avoid any pain. We stayed in a separate room for two of us - it was much bigger than a hotel room, and the food was simply amazing - we travel all over the world and visited various restaurants, but we had never seen such a choice of tasty meals with such large portions. We were also surprised by the free regime of stay: walks are allowed, entrance to the clinic is free. Sanitary processing of the rooms and visitors, as well as staff, is at the highest level. Certainly, I will recommend Helios clinic to those who need cardiovascular treatment, orthopedic problems solving (joints changing and "repairing", etc.). And I would definitely recommend DMU for consultations and travel arrangements.
