I had a hip replacement at Helios Huls. The surgery was performed by Prof. Kraft, very professional, the pain was minimal, and the prosthesis was the best in the class. I walked on my legs the same evening, and since the next day I walked on crutches, and in 4-5 days I did without crutches. The doctors are excellent, the care is good, wards and the hospital looks more like a hotel/sanatorium - everything is very comfortable and beautiful. Food is also at a high level, the menu is varied, but as for me, a lot of bread. Rehabilitation was very good, we worked with all muscle groups according to individual programme. The groups are not large, there are individual sessions, which is very comfortable. The only problem was the language barrier, not all of the staff understood English, and there were some misunderstandings. I got fast and good support from Bukimed and DMU.

Our cooperation with Deutsche Medizinische Union was accidental and at first it was difficult to trust, but we had to because of the child's cancer. The medical specialist Michael recommended Helios Clinic in Berlin and we were treated there. We were always in touch with the logistics specialist Pauline who helped us to solve all our questions during and after treatment. We were especially surprised when Pauline told us that we still had an overpayment after our treatment and the clinic wants to return it, and we did get that overpayment.I would like to thank Polina and Elena Tkach who helped us in the clinic to find a common language with German doctors.Thanks to everyone who helped us. In September 2019 my little girl was operated on at the Helios Clinic in Erfurt.We applied to many clinics in many countries, nobody wanted to operate on our child, arguing that the child has many serious comorbidities.
