Medical visas

Citizens of non-EU countries can enter Spain with a visa if they have a good reason, including for medical treatment. To clarify the rules for obtaining a visa in your country, contact the company manager.

Rules for entering the country

Persons over 12 years of age must present either a PCR test (not older than 72 hours)/ or an antigen test (not older than 24 hours)/ or a certificate of full vaccination/ or a document of recovery (not older than 180 days).

Patient admission

All categories of patients are admitted. Wearing a mask in the doctor's office is mandatory.

I was in the Helios Privatkliniken for the removal of a tumour on my kidney. The surgery was performed by Professor Mark Schrader, everything went well, for which I express my gratitude to him and his assistants during the surgery. I would like to say a special thank you to my interpreter Vitaly who was always there to help me during the surgery.The clinic has all conditions for successful treatment and rehabilitation, attentive staff, comfortable environment, large café on the ground floor.

I would like to thank all the employees of the Deutsche Medizinische Union for their help and support in arranging my treatment at the Helios Caecilien-Hospital Huels. In August 2019, I underwent two hip replacement surgeries, which went as perfectly as possible, in addition to a two-week rehabilitation course at the same clinic. I would like to mention the professionalism, friendliness and responsiveness of all the staff at the hospital. LU-177 treatment at the Helios Berlin-Buch Clinic. The organization of the treatment was done in a short time. The staff recommended the clinic based on our situation, visa support, recommendations for relocation in Germany - everything was received in full. I would like to thank all the staff in the Cardiac Rhythm Recovery Unit of the Hospital Leipzig for their sensitive and attentive attitude and promptness in solving all problems. On 25 February my husband underwent radiofrequency ablation to restore heart rhythm. He is recovering now and is slowly coming back to an active life. Doctor Sergio Richter who performed the surgery and the head of the clinic Sergey Leontev visited our hospital room after the surgery and explained to us how the surgery was, and what steps to take for further recovery. The visit to the clinic was due to an operation to remove thyroid cancer, a man of 63 years. We thank doctor Martin Shtrik and the entire team, the timing of the operation was in accordance with the agreement, the team works smoothly and clearly. The attitude to the patients of all department staff and the clinic is very friendly and caring. The entire process was organized by Mikhail, Maria and Oleg. Marina has been very helpful: she translates synchronously, quickly, does not miss a thing when translated, knows all the special terms, quickly resolving issues with staff. We are not used to the absence of one attending doctor, daily rounds do another doctor. Thank you all for the surgery.

Thank you so much, Julia, Masha and Martin.In December 2018 I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. For me it was not just a shock, but a cruel blow of fate. I was living a healthy lifestyle, doing ""chess"" like a normal person. Time was short, I had to react quickly and correctly.
