    Assuta Hospital Ramat HaHayal is part of the Assuta network of medical centers across Israel. It is the largest private medical organization in the country.     The hospital has one of the best diagnostics departments in Israel, equipped with modern multifunctional organ visualization systems. The visualization equipment is selected according to the recommendations of the American College of Radiology, which ensures that patients do not receive high doses of radiation during their examination. The clinic has a team of world-renowned oncologists.

    Assuta Medical Center is Israel's leading hospital in successful surgeries. The clinic holds about 85,000 surgeries annually.     The clinic opened in 2009. It is the only Assuta hospital that has not been constructed gradually. The hospital building was specially designed to suit the needs and requirements of a modern medical center. The project was developed by specialists from a world-renowned Canadian architecture firm. The clinic has separate elevators for patients and visitors.

    • Microdiscectomy: minimally invasige surgery with the use of HydroCision technology that helps to remove a portion of the intervertebral disc without causing damage to the surrounding tissues.

    • Disc-FX surgery with the use of RF-ENERGY technology: minimally invasive removal of a herniated disc.

    • Coronary artery bypass graft: surgery that diverts blood around narrowed or clogged parts of the major arteries to improve blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart.

    • Coronary catheterization: minimally invasive surgery that widens a narrowed artery to recover normal blood flow.

    Services

    Hospital rooms are built by the standards of a premium-class hotel. Each room has comfortable furniture and a bedside computer. Patients can use the computer to watch cable and central TV and use the Internet.

    There is a bookshop, an orthopedic shop, a pharmacy and a cafe on the ground floor. Patients can order snacks, desserts, hot and cold drinks at the cafe. There is a large park with cosy recreation areas near the hospital. Patients are provided with a wheelchair if they need one.

    The hospital is situated in Ramat HaHayal, a district in northeastern Tel Aviv. Many tech companies have offices in this district. IBM has a research and development facility here. Tel Aviv has many cultural and historic attractions, including Old Jaffa, the Old Tel Aviv Port, the White City, the Pagoda House, as well as many Orthodox and Catholic churches. It is easy to reach the city center from the hospital by public transport.

    It takes 30 minutes by car and about an hour by public transport to reach the clinic from Ben Gurion Airport.
