According to the clinic's administration, more than 20% of all surgeries carried out at the clinic are traumatological and orthopedic operations. The second most common types of surgery are gynecological surgery, breast cancer surgery, hand reconstructive surgery.

In the days leading up to the surgery, patients undergoes a full medical check-up, including a consultation with an anesthesiologist. The clinic's specialists always listen to their patients when choosing the right method of anesthesia: general anesthesia can be offered for patients who feel anxious about the upcoming surgery, as long as they don't have any contraindications. After surgery, patients are moved to a special post-surgery ward, where their condition is monitored 24/7 by qualified specialists. The clinic has 25 hospital, beds and 15 beds for a short hospital stay.

Specialists of the Centre for Breast Cancer Surgery start with diagnostics procedures, including an ultrasound and a mammography. These examinations help determine the causes behind breast lumps, nipple inflammation, deformation and nipple discharge. If the diagnosis is still unclear, specialists can hold an MRI examination and take a breast biopsy sample for a histology test. The clinic specialises in two types of biopsy: needle biopsy (extraction of cells) and surgical biopsy (extraction of a tissue sample).

After the medical examination is complete, doctors can prescribe the right treatment. The treatment strategy may vary depending on the type and stage of breast cancer, the biological and histological features of the tumour, as well as the age and health of the patient. Usually, chemotherapy is prescribed to halt tumour growth. Sometimes, hormone therapy is prescribed as a milder option. Surgical removal of the tumour and breast reconstruction are prescribed only after that.

The Centre for Joint and Sport Surgery deals with several types of surgery: orthopedics and trauma surgery, endoprosthesis, shoulder and wrist surgery, foot surgery, neuro surgery and spinal surgery. The clinic's philosophy is being honest with its patients and taking good care of their health. Its doctors do not offer unnecessary procedures to patients, and in some cases even talk patients out of a surgery they do not need.
