The London Clinic, established in 1932, is one of the UK's largest private clinics. It is located in the heart of London's famous medical district, Harley Street, and its surroundings. It is an independent hospital that provides its patients with top-level medical care and guarantees comfort and privacy. The hospital was established by a group of medics from Harley Street.

The team involves specialists working in a wide variety of medical and surgical fields. The hospital employs highly skilled doctors, the best nurses, surgical consultants, physiotherapists, dieticians and resident medical officers (RMOs). All of them are working to insure the best possible care depending on the patient's needs.

The clinic's consultants are also working as professors. All specialists are registered with the UK's General Medical Council (GMC). In order to practice medicine at the clinic, they must undergo strict control procedures established by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the clinic's own selection procedures. Practising consultants are members of the Royal College of Physicians. They cooperate with numerous research institutes and labs.

The most effective surgeries and procedures

    • Stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT): this procedure uses several precisely targeted rays to treat tumors and other diseases in the brain, lungs, spine, neck, liver and other organs.

    • Adaptive radiotherapy: applied during treatment of bladder cancer.

    • CAR-T-cell therapy: a cutting-edge transformative treatment of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

    • Lutetium-199 PSMA therapy: an innovative molecular therapy used to treat metastatic prostate cancer.

    • Intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT): IORT is used to treat aggressive types of brain cancer, breast cancer and colorectal cancer. The London Clinic carries out IORT with the aid of the Carl Zeiss Intrabeam® innovative system.

    • Prostatic artery embolisation for benign prostatic hyperplasia: the procedure involves blocking the arteries that supply blood to the benign prostatic hyperplasia.

    • Bladder cancer robotic surgery: the surgery is performed under general anaesthetic. During the surgery, six incisions are made in the patient's abdominal cavity. Each incision is about 1 centimetre long.

    • Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery: surgeons remove the torn ligament and replace it with a suitable graft usually taken from the patient's tissue (kneecap tendon or the semitendinosus muscle).

    • Colonoscopy: the London Clinic effectively performs colonoscopy using the GI GeniusTM module, which helps detect colorectal cancer at the earliest stages.
