Daegu Fatima Hospital was established over 60 years ago, on July 2, 1956. It is one of the world's best hospitals. In 2014, the hospital was recognized as the best regional intensive care center. In 2015, it was awarded for its hospice care.

The Gastroenterology Department specializes in the treatment of gastritis, benign and malignant gastrointestinal tumors, stomach and intestinal ulcers, hepatitis, cirrhosis and colitis. Radical gastrectomy surgery is performed for patients with stomach cancer. This procedure is laparoscopic.
The clinic's Cancer Department has all the latest technical equipment. Specialists of the clinic use PET-CT, MRI and CT scanners, Rapid-Arc linear accelerators and neuronavigation systems that help surgeons operate on the brain to avoid damage to healthy tissue.
