The Daehang Hospital is a specialized colorectal clinic approved by the Ministry of Health and Welfare of South Korea. The hospital boasts 27 years of successful practice. Over 20 top physicians and 260 nursing staff are working at the clinic. This is the first colorectal center in South Korea specializing in colonoscopy and inguinal hernia treatment.
Daehang's One Stop system offers a one-day check-up, after which the patient can start treatment immediately. Treatment usually lasts less than a week.

This is the first hospital in the world to carry out 2,500 endoscopic submucosal dissection surgeries (ESD) at the early stages of intestinal cancer. This type of surgery can be performed without anesthesia, under sedation. The center performs over 13,000 intestinal surgeries every year. Over 3,000 colonoscopies are held every month.
The medical center treats hemorrhoids, paraproctitis, anal fissures, liver and gallbladder diseases, inflammatory processes, varicose veins, arteriosclerosis, urinary incontinence, prostate and breast diseases, as well as constipation. Besides, the hospital operates on patients with hernias, acute appendicitis, gallbladder stones, breast cancer. Every year, over 10,000 surgeries are held, many of which are laparoscopic. The clinic also uses a minimally invasive approach to removing first-stage cancer tumors and polyps.
Since 2001, a specialized Inguinal Hernia Treatment Center has been functioning at the clinic, with its specialists using the latest technologies to treat their patients. Their research-based treatment methods have been recognized at various medical conferences in South Korea and abroad.
The hospital also has its own Hemorrhoids Center, which holds over 10,000 hemorrhoids surgeries every year. After treatment, the relapse rate reaches about 0.5%, which is a rather successful result. Besides, the Hemorrhoids Center has a specialized department for female patients. If needed, all the procedures are performed by female specialists to make sure that the patients feel as comfortable as possible.
