Dong-A University Hospital, a general hospital for the diagnosis and treatment of almost all diseases, opened on March 26, 1990, in the Sogu district of Busan, Korea. It is the second largest hospital and its construction was prompted by a large number of successful developments by the university that required implementation into medical practice. Today, the hospital has 30 specialized centers, 36 clinical departments and more than 1,000 beds for inpatients.
The hospital's staff consists of 1,700 highly qualified medical professionals in various fields - many of the employees also regularly improve their knowledge at top foreign universities.
