Ewha Womans University Medical Center is the first hospital in South Korea to focus on the treatment of women's cancer. The center was established in 1887 by the founder of the women's educational organization, missionary Mary Scranton.

The clinic has 10 above-ground floors and 6 underground floors and the facility has a total of 220,000 m². It is staffed by professionals, including highly trained physicians, professors and other medical personnel. All of them regularly undergo training and upgrade their qualifications.

The clinic operates a Nonstop system, thanks to which it is possible to undergo examinations in one day, including consultations, biopsies and clinical tests. This service saves patients from a long wait if cancer is suspected.
