    HanGil Eye Hospital was established on March 25, 1985 by Dr. KyuHyung Chung in Incheon, South Korea. First, it was a small medical center, which expanded in 1998. The hospital is the fourth best cataract removal center in South Korea.

    The clinic's main building has 10 floors, covering an area of 8,900 square meters. The hospital has 17 examination rooms, 6 operating theaters, 22 labs and 5 hospital beds. Every year, the center's specialists hold about 20,000 surgeries, including 5,000 cataract removal surgeries and 700 LASIK vision correction surgeries.

    The clinic uses the so-called One-day One-stop system, which offers a full eye check-up in 16 ophthalmology fields in just one day. If any disease is found, specialists of the center help the patient choose a suitable treatment plan, aided by 220 types of specialized equipment.

    Every year, the clinic welcomes 200,000 patients, including patients from Russia and post-Soviet states, the US, China, Australia and Canada. The clinic's specialists diagnose and treat retinal diseases, glaucoma, strabismus, cataracts. Eye surgery is also available at the clinic, including LASIK vision correction surgery. The surgery lasts about 25 minutes, after which patients can go back to their daily activity in just a few hours.

    The center has the latest high-precision eye diagnostics and treatment equipment: slit-lamp equipment for eyeball examination, Pentacam for cornea examination, IOL Master for eye lens tests, Visucam for pupil examination, FAG (fluorescein angiography) equipment for examining blood circulation within the eye, electroretinography (ERG) that diagnoses the function of the retina and many others.

    The clinic also has intraoperative optical coherence tomography (iOCT) equipment, which helps surgeons evaluate the effects of surgical manipulations in real time.
