History

The clinic was founded in 1970. It was initially called the German Clinic for Diagnosis. In several years, the clinic started to attract patients from abroad as well as local patients. It was then decided to open a surgery department.

In 2014, the clinic began to form part of the Helios Kliniken group.

Services

Patients usually stay in shared hospital rooms for 4 or more people with a separate bathroom. For an additional fee, patients can stay in a one-bed or two-bed room with special amenities. Those include a private safe and mini bar with non-alcoholic drinks and fruit, free Wi-Fi and laundry service, a hairdryer, a bathrobe and towels, a personal hygiene kit and so on.

Location

The clinic is located in Wiesbaden, the capital city of the western German state of Hesse. It is one of Europe's oldest resort cities with 15 thermal and mineral springs. The city is situated on the right bank of the Rhine, across the bank from Mainz, the capital of the Rhineland-Palatinate state. The center of Wiesbaden is famous for its magnificent buildings, old narrow streets and spacious squares. The city has big parks and numerous green areas where city dwellers and visitors can relax.

The clinic is situated in the eastern part of the city, in a quiet zone with low-rise buildings. The closest airport is in Frankfurt, about 30 km away from the clinic. It can be reached by car in about 25 minutes.
