Data based on feedback from patients treated here
Jägerwinkel, part of the Marianowicz Medizin network, is a preventative medicine, medical, and rehabilitation center on the shores of the beautiful Tegernsee lake. It serves osteoporosis, joint and back pain, and sports traumas patients. The hand-picked team of doctors, therapists, and support personnel, along with Alpine landscapes, all contribute to an enjoyable stay and speedy recovery.
More about the clinic
The founder of the clinic Martin Marianowicz is an experienced orthopedists and chiropractor, known first of all for his innovative minimally invasive approach to the spine and spinal disks' problems. He was one of the first German practitioners to develop new back pain management methods that are successfully used at the Jägerwinkel clinic. The goal is to avoid surgery in case of joint and spine problems that may make daily life quite uncomfortable.
Laser therapy is one of the methods used to mitigate pain and loss of functionality. Lasers are used to reduce the size of internal scars in a damaged spinal disk and the pressure on adjacent nerves. The clinic also performs denervation procedures that block joint nerve endings and help mitigate pain.
In addition to pain management, the clinic specializes in psychosomatic syndromes, rehabilitation after traumas, surgeries and complex diseases, as well as preventive medicine. It offers a whole range of procedures, including physiotherapy. They include RF treatments, cardio training and gyrotonic exercises. Diets, training programs, and procedures are developed for each patient individually and monitored by medical professionals.
Philosophy
Dr. Marianowicz and his staff believe that successful recovery is based on a balanced combination of several factors, going way beyond purely medical. A holistic approach to treatment, especially when it comes to orthopedics and rehabilitation, is key to successful recovery. Staying in touch with nature, beautiful views, peace of mind and attention to patient's desires from the medical team helps achieve this goal, and professor Marianowicz and his team keep doing everything possible to consistently improve the quality of their work and the level of patients comfort. This is why many patients come back to Jägerwinkel for checkups, preventative procedures and rehabilitation, and prominent cultural icons, businesspersons and politicians make it their clinic of choice.

Services
The Jägerwinkel offers updated patient and guest rooms, whose design is inspired by the Alpine landscapes, most with a balcony or a patio with a view on the lake, mountains and surrounding forests. The clinic also has a library, a fitness and massage room, as well as recreational spaces, a restaurant, a fireplace area, and a pool. Another outdoor pool, surrounded by a park, is available during the warm season. The restaurant offers a varied, predominantly locally-sourced menu, including Tegernsee fish. The focus is on European cuisine and most of all on regional Bavarian and Mediterranean food.
Location
The Jägerwinkel clinic is located in the municipality of Bad Wiessee, in the heart of the Bavarian Alps, on the shores of the Tegerensee lake. The area is known for its thermal and mineral springs that made Bad Wiessee a famous resort. Bad Wiessee is just 50 kilometers away from Munich, yet Jägerwinkel is all about solitude, solace and calm among mountain peaks and lakes. There are many other attractions in the Bad Wiessee area, such as the alpine town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the highest German peak Zugspitze, and Stafelsee and Eibsee lakes.
