Chasen Oriental Medicine Center specializes in non-surgical treatment of the spine, joints, as well as infertility, chronic fatigue and obesity. In total, the Chasen network of clinics employs about 280 doctors, and the hospital can simultaneously treat 850 patients.
Doctors use methods and medications that were created or verified at the Scientific Institute of the Center (medications used are certified and safe, corresponding to HGMP standards): Pharmacopuncture with bee venom and Sinbaro, the Chung method (a subspecies of East Korean manual therapy), moxibustion, therapeutic spinal decompression, medical jars and bloodletting, massage and physical therapy, herbal steam for inhalation therapy and much more. Each year, specialists perform more than 1,000,000 manipulations.
The hospital has its own pharmaceutical factory, which produces medicines combining traditional recipes of Korean medicine and modern technology. All medications are made under sterile conditions and with precise dosages down to the mg.
