Maria Fertility Hospital was opened in Busan in 1967 and today it is a world famous center of reproductive medicine. The first successful IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) treatment was performed here in 1985.
Maria Fertility Clinic Network consists of 10 branches in 7 cities in Korea – Ilsan, Incheon, Daejeon, Daegu, Pyeongcheon, Jeju and Busan – and two centers outside the country – in New York and Connecticut. The hospital has a total of 120 highly qualified and experienced staff, many of whom are graduates of Seoul National University.
