The Sana Hospitals Leipzig consist of two facilities located in the suburbs of Leipzig: the Multidisciplinary Clinic in Borna and the Geriatric Rehabilitation Center in Zwenkau. The facilities currently have a total of over 1,000 employees, who develop individual treatment and rehabilitation programs for every patient and provide top-quality care.
Using state-of-the-art medical equipment, the Sana Hospitals Leipzig in Borna offers high-quality medical care in a variety of fields: emergency treatment, treatment and diagnosis of cancer, heart and vascular diseases, obesity, urological, gynecological, neurological and ENT problems. Since 2008 the hospital has also been an academic teaching hospital of the University of Leipzig where medical students have their practical training.
The Geriatric Rehabilitation Center Zwenkau specializes in geriatric medicine and offers early rehabilitation and treatment of internal diseases in elderly people. Rehabilitation can take place on an inpatient or outpatient basis.
