History
The Teknon Medical Center was opened in 1994 in the famous Torre Vilana building, which was earlier used as a correctional facility for young delinquents. It was purchased in 1989 as a site for the new clinic. The clinic was designed and constructed incorporating the experience of famous clinics all over the world.
In 2002, the Garcia Bores i Ruano architecture bureau implemented the project on the renewal and reconstruction of the building, which helped the clinic become an example of functional design and comfort. The 19th-century facade of the building works well with glass floors that visually expand the clinic's space. The infrastructure of the medical center adheres to modern medical standards.
